The thyroid is a small gland in the front of your neck, it releases hormones that help your digestion, muscles and heart.
Thyroid cancer is not among the most common, 6000 cases were diagnosed in Spain in 2022; it is of note that over 4000 of those were in women.
If you notice any of the following, get it checked out immediately:
A lump/pain in your neck
An unexplained sore throat and/or hoarse voice
Difficulty swallowing/breathing
