Located in Ballymore Eustace near Dublin, Barretstown offers a range of adventurous, fun and challenging activities which are supported behind the scenes by 24 hour on site medical and nursing care. There are different programmes offered at different times of the year such as family camp which lasts a weekend between the spring and autumn month where the whole family can enjoy activities together and stay at one of their cottages. Other programmes include children summer camp (without parents, for children aged from 7 to 15 years old), sibling camp, teen camp etc. Children travelling from abroad to Ireland to camp are accompanied from their country by trained chaperones and are supervised at all times. At camp, Interpreters are in place to ensure that the children have the comfort of someone explaining things to them in their native language and to ensure that they can be understood so their needs are met at all times.
