Dinner Dance

On the 7th of October the annual Dinner Dance was held at Villa Italia in Port D'Andratx

We would like to thank the organisers, for yet another wonderful event, as we well as all those who attended or who participated by donating goods for the raffle etc.

This annual event is one of our main fundraisers, and helps us to keep providing cancer patients on the island with the emotional, practical and nutritional help they need.

Once again all we can say is, THANK YOU!...

LIVING WITH CANCER

When you are given the diagnosis of cancer, your whole world as you knew it turns upside down. Fear, panic, sorrow, grief, anger, sadness to name but a few are just some of the emotions that you might feel and experience.

It seems that more and more people nowadays have cancer ... but it is also worth remembering that more people are now living with and managing cancer and continuing with their normal every day lives, in some cases really living life to the fullest!

Palma College Labels

We would like to thank Palma College pupils who kindly made these lovely labels for our Knitted knockers and our new turbans that we give away free. They will also be used for Proyecto Micky Almohada del Corazon, these heart shaped cushions are given free to any patient who has had a Mastectomy, the cushions have also been given to patient's who have had heart surgery.

OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

We have all heard of breast cancer and the majority of us know the pink ribbon that represents breast cancer awareness but did you know that men can also get breast cancer! Breast cancer in men is rare, in fact, less than 1% of all breast cancers occur in men. In 2017, about 2,470 men are expected to be diagnosed with the disease. Menorca Coffee Morning

On Friday the 8th of September CSG Mallorca took the first steps to becoming CSG Mallorca and Menorca.

Up until now we have often helped patients travelling from Menorca to Mallorca for treatment and tests, we provide transportation, translators, help with accommodation, etc. But from now on we are also going to have a presence on the island of Menorca, so that patients can at all time have access to the same help as those who live in Mallorca.
